Ways To Help
As a nonprofit organization, we depend on the help of others who care deeply about supporting vulnerable youth. Here are four recommended ways you can help:
VOLUNTEER
- Provide a meal for the residents of one of our cottages.
- Offer general cleaning.
- Plant or trim flowers or landscaping around a cottage.
- Tutor a student after school.
- Assist with clerical or administrative work in the office.
- Help with a fundraising event.
- Provide recreational equipment or supplies (e.g., fishing, bicycles, lawn games)
To serve as a volunteer, you must complete an application and agree to a criminal records check. To apply or request more information, contact Nina Wisenbaker at nwisenbaker@raintreevillage.org or call the office (229) 559-5944.

PRAYER
Praying for our work is one of the most helpful actions you can take. We believe in the power of prayer and have seen God’s hand at work in our ministry over and over again. If you choose to lift our ministry to the Lord in prayer, here are some suggested points to include:
- The children and teens we are serving (all of them come from difficult circumstances)
- Our hard-working staff and Board of Directors (see names on Leadership page)
- Our devoted House Parents
- Parents and family members of the kids entrusted to our care
- State officials who are committed to helping vulnerable youth
- More volunteers
- More funding
CHURCH SUPPORT
As a Christian ministry, we feel blessed when our brothers and sisters in Christ take time to put their faith into action. Here are possible ways your congregation or group can help:
- Bring a group for a service project.
- Conduct a grocery drive to benefit one or more of our cottages.
- Contribute from our Amazon wish list.
- Provide a monthly contribution.
- Provide school supplies.
- Provide household items for the cottages.
- Provide Christmas and Birthday gifts as needed.
If you have an idea for helping us or want to schedule your group, contact Ginny or Kenny Holton at gholton@raintreevillage.org or kholton@raintreevillage.org.

HONOR & MEMORIAL GIFTS
Another meaningful way you can help is to honor someone special through a donation. You can celebrate a loved one’s birthday or anniversary by contributing in their name. You can remember someone’s life by providing a memorial gift.
You can do so by connecting with our donation page.
You may also contact Executive Director Kenny Holton to express your interest in providing this type of gift. Email him at kholton@raintreevillage.org or call 229-559-5944.
12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer. 13 Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.
