Where Vulnerable Youth Find Healing, Belonging, and Direction
Give Hope to Troubled Children and Their Families
DID YOU KNOW…?
- The State of Georgia currently has over 11,000 children in foster care.
- The primary reason an allegation is made against a parent or guardian is neglect (i.e., inadequate supervision, medical neglect, educational neglect, and others).
- When an allegation is substantiated, one option is to remove the child/children from the unsafe situation and place them in a different home.
If a family member’s home or foster care home is not available—or if a child needs specialized treatment—where does that child go?
Thankfully, organizations like Raintree Village exist to provide specialized care.
Every day, state officials introduce us to abused, abandoned, and neglected children. The youth come from difficult (sometimes indescribable) family situations. They all need help and guidance.
Fortunately, they’ve come to the right place. Healing, nurturing, and love replace the hurt and abandonment, thanks to compassionate women and men at Raintree Village.
Our team offers troubled children and teens an opportunity for a future by instilling strong FAITH in God, HOPE for a better tomorrow, and LOVE for self and others.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your prayers and support.
By contributing to Raintree Village, you help lost kids find their way.
Speaking of lost kids…
Eighteen-year-old Karisma graduated from high school in May, 2024… something she had a hard time imagining a few years ago.
Karisma admitted that if she had not come to Raintree Village in April of 2022, she would most likely still be on the streets somewhere, completely miserable.
How her life changed in two years! Here’s her perspective…
“Living at Raintree Village has helped me mentally grow as a person and become an adult. It has helped me learn to take accountability for my actions, and it has helped me overall be the person I knew I could be…”
